This month we have Xing Long Tan from IPG Mediabrands, Singapore.
1. Tell us a bit about yourself and the company you work for…
I’m currently a Social Media Manager at IPG Mediabrands’ Reprise, which offers integrated, end-to-end digital solutions to a large range of clients, both locally and regionally. More importantly, our philosophy is to always ground our solutions and recommendations in data, and Locowise provides a wealth of data for us to draw our insights and learnings from.
2. What is your favourite feature in Locowise, and could you share a pro tip you’ve discovered while using the platform?
While not necessarily a feature, the thing I love most about Locowise is the user interface and how easy it is to customize your own reports. Not only can you select relevant metrics for each client but also compare data across all of their owned social assets easily.
One other feature which I find very useful is the Social Audit tool, which allows you to generate quick and fuss-free audit reports that provides topline but relevant data. This is especially helpful for a new client/business, where you usually have little to no data prior.
3. If you could have a cup of coffee with anyone, who would it be with and why?
Alain de Botton, just because I’m a huge fan of his work. He has a knack of explaining the most profound topics in such a simple and relatable way.
