LinkedIn has announced a collection of new features, designed to make marketers’ lives easier. As virtual events stay on the agenda, LinkedIn has developed a feature for members to promote these more widely and to help users with broadcasting options.
“Boost” your posts
High performing organic posts can be given a “Boost” to expand audience reach. Designed to be simple and easy to use, without having to learn new marketing tools, users can do this directly from the LinkedIn Page.
Event ads
Amplify your events strategy with LinkedIn’s newest ad format, Event Ads, and measure the success with Event Analytics. Marketers and event organisers can get their event details in front of the professionals that matter and have clear visibility into the effectiveness of their campaign.
Marketers can promote events and highlight key details to a new audience, and members can learn if a mutual connection has expressed interest in attending.
Marketers are provided with insights into who clicked on or saw an ad and registered for the event. Details on the reach, engagement and firmographic makeup of event attendees are also provided to help with planning for future events.
Custom Streaming
To help users take advantage of LinkedIn Live, users can now live stream using Zoom, WebEx, OBS, and soon, Microsoft Teams. And to help users measure performance on the go, their new Mobile Page Analytics highlights the same insights provided on desktop for content, visitors, and followers – including both organic and boosted metrics.
