Instagram has announced users will be able to save Stories as drafts to be posted at a later time. There has been no date given for when this new feature will be available but it will certainly help brands who would prefer to share a Story at a more relevant time to their followers. 

A look at how it will work was shared by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi: 

Reel Remix

Another development from Instagram, which has already launched, is to the video editor. The Remix feature enables users to film Reels to appear next to another Reel that has the Remix access permitted. To is a great way to jump on trending videos or collaborate with a brand influencer. 

How to Remix?

1. Tap on the 3 dot menu on a Reel
2. Select the new “Remix this Reel”
3. The screen will split with the original Reel on one side and the other for you to record your one 
4. Once you’re finished you can edit the volume or add a voiceover before publishing
