Snapchat has launched Snapchat Trends, a tool designed to help users find topics performing well on Snapchat. To help boost engagement with audiences within the Snapchat Community, the feature currently shows users the top trends for the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Users can make use of these insights for product market research, building user personas, and more. As well as the main keyword search option, insights include example snaps for your search term, case studies, and the top trends for the last week.
On this development, Snapchat explains:
“With these insights, Snap is able to provide a new level of visibility into organic chatter on Snapchat, looking at what our community is talking about and showcasing popular Snaps that exemplify each trending topic. For marketers and content creators, Snapchat Trends offers a brand new source of insight into the Snapchat Generation and an opportunity to learn more about the Snapchat community and the topics they care about. Through testing of Snapchat Trends, we’ve seen a number of partners successfully derive and apply new insights — both on and off platform.”
