Instagram is testing the ability for users to recreate reels produced by other creators that they like the format of by using them as templates.
The process, shared by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, is expected to work by users selecting ‘Use as template’ on the Reel. This will then create a framework of clips, matching the time stamps of that Reel, for the user to then insert their desired clips and share on their page.
