Instagram Carousel Update

Instagram users can now delete a single individual post within an uploaded carousel.

Have you ever uploaded a carousel post and then decided you want to remove one of the images or videos? Up until now, that would have meant you’d need to delete the whole post. But now, you can manage the post with more control as a new update allows you to delete individual posts by simply completing the following steps:

1. Tap on the three dots menu
2. Select ‘edit’
3. Tap on the trash icon in the top left corner of the image/video that you want to remove

And in the recent Global Digital Report, October Statshot, we discover that the average Instagram engagement rate for business accounts is highest for carousel posts at 1.08%.
